ALEX RAIN began working as voice actor in 2008, taking the leap to full-time voiceover in 2012. Since that Alex has become one of the go-to voices for explainer videos, corporate narrations, and commercials for some of the biggest companies in the world, including Microsoft, HP, Google, eBay, PayPal, Hyundai, Asus, GE, Amazon, BestBuy, AT&T, Subway, Seagate, Magento, Ford, Coca-Cola, and Intel. Most prominently, Alex narrated the Emmy-winning Dr. Chris Pet Vet (Litton Entertainment), during the CBS Dream Team on Saturday mornings for six seasons and two seasons of the spin-off, Pet Vet Dream Team.
Alex’s ADR(dubbing) credits include Dead Mount, Death Play (Phantom Solitaire), One Piece (Heat, additional voices) Mobile Suit Gundam, Natsume's Book of Friends, Frieren, Black Summoner, Masamune-kun's Revenge, & Camp Fire Cooking. In addition, Alex has provided promo and imaging voice work for the CBS Weekend programming block, The More You Know on NBC, and for Litton's Weekend Adventure on ABC. Alex's other voice credits include in indie gaming titles such as Dr. Sullivan in Shatterline, Charlie in the Ice Scream series, Miner Wars 2081, Grim Dawn, and Metropolis.
With a career background of over two decades in radio and television broadcasting and media production, Alex is an expert at audio editing and home recording, and he provides consultations, coaching, and freelance demo production and editing. In person coaching/recording/editing is available for those in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
Since talking in a box on all day can get old, Alex likes to get out and perform on stage, and he has appeared in a variety of plays and musicals in the North Texas area. Alex also flexes his creative muscles as professional photographer and videographer (alexrainphotography.com).
